We provide free return media and return shipping so you know upfront what it costs for data recovery. Many companies charge extra to put your data on a new USB storage device so their quoted price just keeps going up. We also include free return shipping for most recoveries.
At Blizzard we use portable USB hard drives for recoveries with more than 50GB of data and less than 5TB. For the smaller cases (less than 50GB of data) we typically provide a free USB flash drive. For recoveries with more than 50GB of user data we use a variety of portable USB hard drives from Toshiba, Seagate, and Western Digital. For recoveries over 5TB we often use full sized external desktop hard drives from Western Digital and Seagate.
